At times, I take a step back from whatever I’m doing to wonder if my time and effort spent on it is worthwhile. Pursuing the arts is made out to be a fools game, and it’s easy for me to fall into the trap of thinking that these whimsical, youthfully inspired days are eventually going to fade into nostalgic memories of what could’ve been a dream come true. Needless to say, Jake and I were incredibly excited to find out that Cassiopeia made it into Seattle’s Sound-Off! this year. It’s nice to have validation of your work every once in a while.
So excited! I can’t wait to meet all the talented people at Sound Off this year! Hoping to make some sweeeet connections. And yes, the validation is extra excellent.
