#26 - “Missing” by Beck. Phew! I almost nearly got close to missing today’s post! I was going to upload “The New Pollution, but stupid DRM rules foiled my plans. Beck is one of my favorite artists, due to his extreme originality, and ability to experiment and change his sound while still putting out awesome music. His drums are always EQ’d to sound really cool, similar to hip-hop drum loops. I think the vocal melodies in this song are really catchy, and it’s one of the rare songs where Beck actually sings instead of rapping/talk-singing. Then again, I also love in this song when he gets more into the rap-y part. A truly talented and original artist.
